This policy outlines product preparation and shipping timelines. While we strive to meet these estimates, unexpected circumstances may cause delays. Product Preparation Times

All prints and frames are made to order and require a little time and love to prepare and package. The timelines below are estimates and may vary with the season and how busy our small businesses are.

Unframed Original Paintings

  • Allow 3–6 days for preparation and careful packaging.

  • Ships directly from our studio in Lantzville, BC, Canada.

  • A tracking number is emailed once your artwork is ready to ship.

  • A signature is required upon delivery.

Framed Original Paintings

  • Allow 1–2 weeks for preparation, as each frame is made to order.

  • Ships directly from our studio in Lantzville, BC, Canada.

  • A tracking number is emailed once your artwork is ready to ship.

  • A signature is required upon delivery.

Canvas & Paper Prints

  • Made to order through our trusted local network of small businesses. Canvas prints are printed, stretched and varnished with care.

  • Orders typically ship within 10–15 business days. Preparation may take longer during busy seasons.

  • A tracking number is emailed once your order is ready to ship.

Shipping Rates

Free Shipping*

Free shipping applies to orders over $150 (exceptions* apply) for unframed canvas prints and canvas prints in our new wood float frames. 

*Exceptions include (1) custom hardwood framing orders in oak, walnut, fir or maple. Also, some oversized packages and remote destinations can trigger fairly astronomical shipping fees. If this affects your order, we’ll contact you before shipping to discuss options.

 

Standard Shipping Rates

For items that do not qualify for free shipping, standard rates are calculated at checkout:

  • Canada and US: $50 for regular-sized items; $75 for oversized items.

  • All other destinations: $65 for regular-sized items; $150 for oversized items.

Occasionally, oversized parcels or deliveries to remote locations may incur shipping costs beyond our usual rates, including on orders that otherwise qualify for free shipping. If this affects your order, we’ll contact you before shipping to discuss any additional charges and available options.

Shipping Times

The estimates below are for transit time, after your order has been prepared and shipped:

  • Canada and continental US: approximately 1–2 weeks.

  • International: approximately 1–3 weeks, depending on the destination.

Carrier or customs delays may affect delivery times.

Import Duties, Taxes & Fees

Orders shipped outside Canada may incur import duties, taxes (including VAT) and other fees. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in free shipping.

Damage During Shipping — Peace of Mind Guarantee

We take great care in packaging your artwork. In the rare event of damage during shipping, please contact info@christinaclarkeartist.com promptly with photos of the packaging and damaged artwork. We’ll work with you to repair or replace your artwork as quickly as possible.
